Philip James McGoldrick is an award winning British- European film director, writer and producer. Born in Warsaw in 1987, Philip graduated with honours from the RITCS film academy (Brussels), and subsequently received a scholarship to study Directing Fiction at The National Film & Television School (UK).
His film work has received 50+ award nominations internationally. His short film 'Siemiany' won the Premiers Plans Grand Prix de Jury and the Paris Shorts' 'Best Director' award, and was also nominated for the Berlinale Crystal Bear in 2010. In 2018, Philip directed the UK theatrical premier of the play 'Mariage Blanc', written by the legendary Polish playwright Tadeusz Rozewicz. He is currently developing his first feature film with support from the Flanders Audiovisual Fund, alongside a feature length documentary 'Born of Violence'.
